All Elite Wrestling has announced that they will have signed former ECW Champion Taz to a multi-year contract. He has made two other appearances for the promotion, doing commentary on AEW Dark and on the New Years episode of Dynamite.

AEW now has a plethora of talented announcers. So much so that it may be difficult to find a place for all of them. With Tony Schiavone, Jim Ross and Excalibur already working the commentary desk regularly, some shuffling may need to occur.
When TNT extended AEW’s television contract it was also announced that a second AEW show would be coming to the station. This will likely mean that AEW Dark will be coming to TNT. This would be an excellent way to integrate Taz into the announce team full-time.
Taz has been very impressive in his two appearances with the company thus far and having him on board will undoubtedly make the presentation of AEW that much stronger.
