It’s being reported that AEW had originally planned another special edition of Dynamite from this year’s Jericho Cruise.
As per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this plan changed due to the changes COVID-19 has caused to the economics of everything, and taping on the cruise is way more expensive.
Instead, there is a Dynamite scheduled to take place in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, October 23. The Jericho Cruise is October 21-25.
AEW will be splitting its crew and some names will be doing Dynamite and some will be on the cruise instead.
The names currently confirmed for the cruise, and therefore won’t be on the Dynamite, are Britt Baker, Orange Cassidy, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Colt Cabana, and obviously Jericho himself.
The reason that Dynamite is on a Saturday is because TNT is airing the Boston Bruins vs Philadelphia Flyers NHL hockey game that Wednesday.
