One of CM Punk’s AEW Collision co-stars has taken to social media to post a photo of himself with Punk backstage.

Taking to Twitter, the also-recently returning Andrade El Idolo uploaded the pic of himself and Punk along with the caption:

While the pair never crossed paths beforehand, it was reported by Fightful ahead of Collision’s reveal that Punk was pushing to have Andrade as a part of the show’s roster.

Andrade too seemed to be looking forward to working with Punk ahead of their eventual meeting at Collision.

Andrade picked up a win over Buddy Matthews on Collision, but was then attacked by the rest of the House of Black.

Although it’s been said that there’s not a “hard” brand split planned for Dynamite and Collision, Punk and Andrade are two names who are likely be kept separate from others in the locker room, with Punk of course having his issues with The Elite, and Andrade having issues with Sammy Guevara which resulted in him being suspended last year.
