Former AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin has revealed that he’s preparing to climb Mount Everest next year.
Speaking with TMZ Sports, Allin noted that it is important to him that he accomplishes things that no other wrestlers have.
Noting that he plans to climb Mount Everest in 2024, Allin said:
“That’s been my whole MO since AEW started. That’s why it’s so important for me to meet up with guys like (Travis) Pastrana, and make stuff happen. Do stuff that no wrestler’s ever done before.
“The thing I’m going to be doing next year that no wrestler’s done before is climb Mount Everest. You heard it here first.”
Conquering the 29,035 foot peak is a daunting feet, with only several thousand people successfully reaching the summit.
This Wednesday’s (May 10) edition of Dynamite has been touted by Tony Khan as a ‘PPV on TBS’ because of its stacked card.
The lineup for this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite is as follows:
No Holds Barred – Julia Hart vs. Anna Jay
Open House Rules match for the AEW Trios Championship – House of Black (c) vs. Bandido & Best Friends
AEW International Championship – Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
Double Jeopardy Match – Claudio Castagnoli vs. Rey Fenix
