AEW Posts & Then Deletes Tweet Aimed At IMPACT Wrestling

The closing angle to last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw Don Callis and new AEW World Champion Kenny Omega flee Daily’s Place in a car after revealing that Omega will be on IMPACT next week.

This is seemingly the beginning of a working relationship between AEW and IMPACT Wrestling, which wrestlers from both promotions have since reacted to on social media, teasing some rather exciting dream matches.

Following the closing angle from last night’s show, AEW shared a GIF from the movie Step Brothers where Will Ferrell’s character asks John C. Reilly’s if they just became best friends. AEW tagged IMPACT in that tweet.

For some reason, AEW decided to delete that tweet shortly afterwards, and it is unclear why. In case any other updates emerge about this, including why the tweet was deleted, make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
