A current AEW Champion was honored to be recognised for their achievements with a celebratory day in their home city.
As previously reported, AEW TNT Champion Powerhouse Will Hobbs was honored with a day in his name in the city of East Palo Alto on March 24.
AEW have since shared photos of the day on their official Twitter account.

Hobbs won the Face of the Revolution ladder match on March 1 to secure a shot at the AEW TNT Championship.
At AEW Revolution on March 5, Wardlow would defeat Samoa Joe to become the AEW TNT Champion.
Hobbs would go on to defeat Wardlow with assistance from a returning QT Marshall on the March 8 episode of AEW Dynamite in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
This marked the start of Hobbs’ first championship reign since signing with the company in July 2020.
