AEW has reportedly already been working on promoting Double or Nothing 2023, months away from the upcoming pay-per-view.
Per PWInsider, the promotion was filming promotional material for this year’s Double or Nothing event earlier this week.
The report didn’t specify where or when exactly the content was filmed, nor was the nature of the promo material revealed.
As of writing, AEW has not confirmed the date or venue for the event.
With Double or Nothing taking place during Memorial Day weekend every year since AEW’s inception, it is expected that this year’s pay-per-view will air on either May 27 or 28, with Memorial Day on Monday, May 29.
“Yes, you should. I can’t wait. I really believe we’ve built something really special in Las Vegas with Double or Nothing weekend for the local fans in Vegas and fans who travel all over the world to be part of Double or Nothing every year.”
“Absolutely, as long as I can make it happen, which I think will be for many decades to come, I expect Double or Nothing to be part of the Las Vegas calendar and Memorial Day in Las Vegas is about AEW now.”
“Memorial Day weekend is a very important American holiday and we’ve built a nice tradition there over the weekend, and on Sunday in particular, we’ve had a lot of success, and I would love to Double or Nothing in Las Vegas and I expect to.”
Before then, AEW will hold its AEW Revolution pay-per-view on March 5.
