The final episode of AEW Rampage ended with a top star forcing the production crew to take the show off the air.
As was previously confirmed by Tony Khan, Friday’s (December 27) AEW Rampage episode would be the last “for the foreseeable future”.
This weekends Rampage New Year’s Smash special ended in an impactful way, with Jon Moxley and the Death Riders invading the production truck.
Following an in-ring brawl, Moxley entered the truck with Marina Shafir and vowed to end the chaos at Worlds End.
Moxley then stated that he’s putting an end to Rampage, before forcing the production crew to cut to black.
AEW shared a video of this final segment with the following caption:
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is putting an END to Rampage as we know it!
It is unclear if AEW has any plans to bring Rampage back.
Jon Moxley will defend his AEW World Title in a fourway match at Saturday’s (December 28) Worlds End pay-per-view, with Jay White, Hangman Page and Orange Cassidy set to challenge for the gold.
