Major AEW Gimmick Change Teased With Big Match Announcement AEW

On tonight’s AEW Rampage (April 14) a backstage segment revealed a big new match and teased a return to a popular former gimmick.

With Matt Hardy and a returning Jeff Hardy featuring in the segment, a big match was announced between the Firm and a newly arranged group.

Announcing a match between HOOK, the Hardy Boyz and Isiah Kassidy and The Firm (Big Bill, Lee Moriarty, Stokely Hathaway and Ethan Page)

With Matt Hardy announcing the location of the match and theme to be a very interesting one.

Hardy said:

“It is going to take place at the Hardy Compound and we are once and for all going to render the Firm obsolete in the Firm Deletion! Delete! Delete! Delete!”

Elsewhere in the segment, Jeff Hardy broke his silence about his suprise return to AEW Dynamite on this week’s episode.

Running out to make the save similarly to his debut, this time Jeff Hardy did not pause for any form of dancing en route to saving brother Matt!
