AEW taped this week’s episode of Rampage (June 24) following last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
The show is set to feature an exciting encounter between Andrade El Idolo and Rey Fenix, Cash Wheeler against Jeff Cobb and more.
Here are the results from the show, per PWInsider:
- Andrade El Idolo def. Rey Fenix. Rush made his first appearance on AEW television following his segment with Andrade at Double or Nothing, hitting Fenix with a low blow
- Serena Deeb & ROH Women’s World Champion Mercedes Martinez def. Sierra & Laynie Luck
- Hook def. The DKC
- IWGP World Tag Team Champion Jeff Cobb def. ROH World Tag Team Champion Cash Wheeler. Dax Harwood attacked Great-O-Khan after the bout. Will Ospreay attacked before Orange Cassidy and Roppongi Vice made the save with a big brawl ending the show. In the middle of this, Eddie Kingston attacked Chris Jericho at the commentary booth and began stabbing at him with something.
AEW has had some struggles with Rampage in recent weeks, with this past week’s episode of the show scoring the worst demo rating in the show’s history, which Dave Meltzer said was ‘mindblowingly bad’.
