A former WWE star made their AEW debut at tonight’s AEW Rampage where his first match was a title shot in the main event!
On tonight’s edition of AEW Rampage, Kip Sabian was tasked at bringing a challenger for Orange Cassidy’s title.
So who did Sabian bring to AEW to take on Cassidy for the All Atlantic title but another All Atlantic gent.
To answer Orange Cassidy’s All Atlantic Championship challenge was former WWE star and NXT UK alum, Trent Seven.
The former Mustache Mountain member was released from WWE in August 2022.
He was not successful in his challenge of Cassidy for the All Atlantic Championship however the two put on a hard hitting and entertaining affair.
In a post-match angle, Trent Seven also brawled a bit with Dustin Rhodes so it may not be the last we see of him!
As of time of writing, there was no official announcement regarding whether or not we might expect to see more of Trent Seven in AEW.
Elsewhere at the AEW Rampage taping, Jon Moxley took on Konosuke Takeshita in a hard hitting affair.
