The viewership figures for the September 17 edition of AEW Rampage, featuring two championship matches, have been revealed.
As per Wrestlenomics, last week’s episode drew an average of 642,000 viewers. This is slightly down from the 670,000 viewers who tuned in on September 1o.
In the 18-49 demographic, Friday’s show received a 0.28 rating, equating to 367,000 viewers in the demo. The previous week’s episode had a 0.27 rating (347,000 viewers) in the same demo.
On the show, The Lucha Brothers retained their AEW Tag Team Championship against The Butcher & The Blade. After the match, Private Party attacked Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix before Santana & Ortiz made the save.
Miro also defended his TNT Championship against Fuego Del Sol. After the match, Sammy Guevara ran down and got physical with the titleholder.
On this week’s special Rampage Grand Slam show, CM Punk will do battle with Powerhouse Hobbs. This will be Punk’s first TV match since January 20, 2014.
