The demo ratings for Friday’s (April 29) editions of AEW Rampage on TNT and WWE SmackDown scored the lowest in both shows’ histories.

Per Brandon Thruston of Wrestlenomics, Friday’s AEW Rampage drew 464,000 viewers and scored 0.14 demo rating with 179,000 viewers in the 18-49 demographic

The total viewership was down from the April 22 episode that drew 518,000 viewers, while the demo rating was also down to the lowest in the show’s history in its normal time slot.

Friday’s SmackDown drew 1.953 million viewers and scored 0.38 demo rating with 490,000 in the 18-49 demographic.

The total viewership was up slightly from the April 22 edition that drew 1.952 million viewers, but the demo rating was down significantly from the week prior that scored 0.47 rating.

With the exception of FS1 preemptions, this was the lowest demo rating at the normal time slot for WWE SmackDown on FOX.

Both shows went up against the NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft 2022, which dominated the ratings.

SmackDown featured Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn in a steel cage match and Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair in an “I Quit” Beat The Clock Challenge.

AEW Rampage featured Darby Allin vs. Swerve Strickland in an Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Qualifier Match
