The final viewership numbers for the ‘Friday Night War’ between AEW Rampage and WWE SmackDown have been revealed, with Rampage scoring the head-to-head victory for the 30 minute overlap against SmackDown in the key 18-49 demographic.
Many have wondered how Rampage would fair, and how a potential victory over SmackDown would be received by WWE, and we haven’t had to wait long to find out.
WrestleVotes posted an update to their Twitter account earlier today, where they mentioned that the ratings are a ‘hot topic’ backstage at WWE Raw tonight.
They tweeted:
All I’ll say is that the numbers news is a HOT topic right now backstage.
Tonight’s WWE Raw is set to feature a Raw Women’s Championship match between Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair, as well as the semi-finals of the King of the Ring and Queens Crown Tournaments, pitting Jinder Mahal against Xavier Woods and Doudrop against Shayna Baszler, respectively.
