A popular AEW star has confirmed that they have signed a new deal with the company, following recent reports.
Fightful Select previously reported that Nightingale recently signed a new multi-year contract with AEW.
Nightingale has now confirmed this, noting that she feels she has a lot more to accomplish with the company.
Speaking with The TakeDown on SI, Nightingale noted that she’s excited about remaining with AEW, noting:
“That is true, yes. I am happy where I am. I think there is so much left ahead for me to do at AEW, things that I want to accomplish.
“But also, I’m just really excited to be a part of something when it’s fresh and new and, like, you know, I think we’re past the years of finding our footing.
“But to have been a part of that and continue to water and watch it grow is just a privilege as well as a joy, you know? So I’m excited to continue, to take part in that.”
She went on to note that one of the things she loves about AEW is the company’s international partners, which allow her to wrestle all over the world.
Nightingale made her AEW debut on Dark: Elevation in May 2021. Since then she has held the TBS Championship, won the 2023 Owen Hart Cup, and established herself as one of the most popular stars in the company’s women’s division.
