Ortiz and Daniel Garcia have now reacted to Eddie Kingston stating that he quits AEW, following this week’s edition of Dynamite.
On the March 1 show, the Face of the Revolution ladder match took place, with eight stars competing for a future title shot.
Almost straight away, Eddie Kingston and Ortiz brawled up the ramp and to the back, and it required 10 security guards to pull them apart.
In a backstage interview shared on social media, Eddie Kingston stated that he quits AEW, before leaving the arena.
Ortiz has now commented on this declaration, retweeting the interview video with the caption:
“Taking the easy way out like always”
Daniel Garcia doesn’t seem to be too upset about Kingston’s apparent exit, with the former ROH Pure Champion tweeting:
“Used to pray for times like this 🙏🏽”
Eddie Kingston is expected to feature on the debut episode of Ring of Honor on March 2nd, after having a match at the taping.
ROH officially announced Kingston for the episode on Tuesday (February 28).
This has led to speculation that Kingston really is done with AEW but not ROH.
We will continue to provide updates on the situation as they become available.
