AEW Regulars Discuss Major WWE Star’s Nightmare Factory Appearance AEW

John Cena made his return to WWE Raw in Boston back in March, when he set up his WrestleMania 39 clash with Austin Theory.

After Cena’s segment, he stood on the ramp and introduced Cody Rhodes to the crowd, endorsing the American Nightmare ahead of his WrestleMania main event against Roman Reigns.

Following his segment with Rhodes, Cena took a trip to the Nightmare Factory, where he gave a special session at the Factory.

AEW regulars the Renegade Twins (Charlette and Robyn Renegade) were present at the session, and decribed the experience during a virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions.

They said:

Charlette: We actually met John Cena recently. He came and spoke at the Nightmare Factory and we got the opportunity to sit there and talk to him and I want to let everybody know, John Cena is John Cena is John Cena. The John Cena you see on TV and in movies is the same John Cena that you’re gonna see in person and it is a beautiful, beautiful, very refreshing thing.

Robyn: If you’ve ever watched John Cena which I’m… everybody’s watched John Cena. John Cena is John Cena. John Cena is John Cena. There’s no other way to explain it. It’s John Cena.

Charlette: It felt like such a personal conversation even though it was 30 people there looking at him. It felt very personal and very special and it was an out-of-body moment.

The Renegades became the NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions back at the NWA Nuff Said pay-per-view, before dropping the titles the following day at the NWA television tapings.

They last wrestled for AEW on the April 5 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation in a losing effort to Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose.
