AEW are reportedly on the verge of signing their latest star, after indy wrestler “Jungle Boy” Nate Coy reportedly agreed to terms with the promotion.
Coy, whose real name is Jack Perry, is the son of actor Luke Perry, and has spent much of his short career on the Californian indy scene, and despite being just 21 has impressed those who matter at AEW.
The report, which comes from Thomas Fenton of Wrestling News World, suggests that AEW wanted Coy to sign a long-term deal, but Coy’s representatives thought it unwise to commit to something too long-term at this stage of his career.
If he does sign, he will join a roster which features names such as Chris Jericho, PAC, Cody, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page and Joey Janela.
