A current AEW name has responded to an accusation that he is ‘resentful’ towards WWE, clapping back about the “inaccurate” statement.
While Taz is currently a commentator for AEW, he also has a storied past in the ring in ECW, WWE and beyond.
However, after a fan accused Taz of harboring resentment towards WWE, the current AEW star issued a response.
Taz wrote on Twitter:
ZERO resentment. Why would you even say something like that? It’s so inaccurate…
You don’t know me. And the thing you need to realize is they offered me a whole new career opportunity which I’m still doing today as a color commentator.
So you’re dead wrong.
Taz is currently away from his role on AEW commentary, having suffered an injury in a “parking lot attack”.
Set to avenge the attack, HOOK discovered that Christian Cage was responsible, leading into their current storyline of Cage attempting to recruit HOOK to The Patriarchy.
In real life, Taz has been off television as he continues to recover from a major knee replacement surgery.
