Rapper Reveals He’s Ready For AEW In-Ring Return AEW

Rapper and television presenter Action Bronson has revealed he’s only a call away should an AEW return be in his future.

The BET Hip Hop Awards nominated artist made his first AEW appearance at All Out in September 2022, going on to have his first match at Grand Slam later that month.

Highlights from the match can be seen below this news story, with Bronson teaming with Hook to take on Matt Menard & Angelo Parker.

Bronson has now revealed that he never received a call back about another appearance in AEW during an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, saying:

“Come on, man. You know what they do. They don’t call you back. I never got called back. There was an angle there. I’m ready right now. I’m ready for whoever.”

While Bronson may be ready for an AEW return, he was asked about whether he enjoyed being backstage and was less than complimentary, stating:

“I did. Actually, no. I enjoy the act. I don’t like the…the backstage is weird over there. It’s just weird. It was just like everyone’s cliquey.”

The rapper would be asked if he was “welcomed in AEW”, but pointed out that he was not looking be welcomed, noting the “weird vibes.”

Asked if he would wrestle again, Bronson was enthused by the possibility, saying:

“100%. It was a great time. If I get the call and it’s a big show, I’m coming.”

While Bronson may not have stepped back into the ring, HOOK has used his track – “Chairman’s Intent” from the album Blue Chips 7000 – as his AEW theme since December 2021.
