The biggest announcement to come out of this week’s episode of Dynamite is the announcement of AEW Revolution. The pay per view will take place on February 29, 2020 and will emanate from downtown Chicago, Illinois.
This will be the second AEW pay per view to take place in Chicago. The first was ALL OUT this past August, which saw Chris Jericho become the inaugural AEW World Champion. Chicago has a rich history with AEW, as it also played host to ALL IN, which was the precursor to the promotion we have today.
The event will likely feature the main event of Chris Jericho vs. Jon Moxley. Moxley has been presented as the number one contender to Jericho’s title as of late although no match has been announced. The other big programs that could culminate at the show could be the Cody vs. MJF rivalry and a AEW Women’s Championship match, possibly featuring Hikaru Shida.
We don’t know much about the event besides the time and place but we will keep you updated with more details as they become available.
