AEW Revolution Hosts Brutal First Time ‘Final Burial’ Match

AEW Revolution Hosts Brutal First Time ‘Final Burial’ Match AEW

Two bitter rivals looked to settle their feud on AEW’s pay-per-view, AEW Revolution tonight (March 5) in a Final Burial match.

After the rules being announced to the match earlier in the AEW Revolution Zero Hour, they were clarified that in order to win, one needed to get their opponent locked inside the casket at the entrance ramp.

After brawling throughout the crowd and of course in the ring, Christian Cage and Jungle Boy eventually made their way to the entrance near the casket and burial set up.

With Cage opening the casket to reveal he had pre-planted chairs within in, the two battled on the stage as Cage was already bleeding from the war.

With Christian managing to get Jack into the casket, the match wasn’t over as Jungle Boy fought back.

After choking out Cage with the handle of the shovel, he seemed to be down as Perry went on to deliver the vicious Concerto that he had threatened in the past.

With an anguished look on his face, he slung Christian Cage’s lifeless body into the casket and looked remorseful as he hesitated in closing the casket.

However as he did, the casket dropped into the ground with a plomb of smoke.

The AEW Revolution Zero Hour saw the date and location for AEW Double or Nothing revealed, a trios match with one of the teams getting a big entrance and the rules to the upcoming ‘Final Burial’ match were explained ahead of the match.

The AEW Revolution main card kicked off with Ricky Starks taking on Chris Jericho with the Jericho Appreciation Society banned from ringside. You can click here to find out what happened in that match.
