Behind The Scenes Story From AEW Revolution You May Have Missed

Behind The Scenes Story From AEW Revolution You May Have Missed AEW

If you were focused on the action in the ring at tonight’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view, there was a real storyline that you may have missed.

Many fans caught that during the main event, MJF happened to grab a drink from a Mom in the crowd and throw it on what appeared to be her son who was seated nearby.

What they may have not caught was that there was an entire story unfolding behind the scenes, documented first on Twitter and then addressed directly by Tony Khan.

With Sean Ross Sapp noting on Twitter that the child was not a plant, he was actually quite upset by the situation however was being visited by Amanda Huber from AEW’s Community Outreach team.

Also, shout to Will Washington who bought the young man Acclaimed scissor fingers to aid in the cheering up process!

After the event, users on Twitter shared around a photo of the child backstage with both Amanda Huber and Powerhouse Hobbs (and his Mom of course.)

More would eventually be discovered about the young man at the post-event media scrum when Tony Khan addressed the situation after having been asked about it.

Khan sharing that the youngster’s name is Titus and that he had met him backstage.

Tony Khan also adding some firm words for the AEW Champion MJF who was sat beside him, noting that in all seriousness he did talk to MJF about the incident before the scrum started.

MJF for his part displayed situationally appropriate albeit forced contrition whilst also noting that Titus was “salt of the earth.”

In the end, it seems that an off script moment went a little sideways for one young fan but in the end, AEW went out of their way to make it right with him and his Mom.

If there are any further developments in this story, we’ll be sure to let you know!
