The Revolution pay-per-view is currently slated for February 27, but All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is reportedly considering moving the show back a few weeks.
Writing in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer is reporting that the promotion is considering changing the date for the pay-per-view due to a big Jake Paul boxing PPV:
The Revolution PPV is being moved. We’ve heard possible dates of either 3/6 or 3/7 at Daily’s Place. The original date of 2/27 has been talked about as possibly a Jake Paul PPV, although with that date coming closer and nothing signed, the odds of that match happening would seem to be decreasing.
It’s important to note that the significance of AEW reportedly considering March 7 as the date for Revolution. This is a Sunday, and up until now, every single one of AEW’s pay-per-view events has taken place on a Saturday.
It’s also important to point out that in the tweet yesterday announcing Sting will be in action at Revolution, AEW did not say anything about the date for the show:
Here we go! It's 'The Machine' Brian Cage (@MrGMSI_BCage) & Ricky Starks (@starkmanjones) of #TeamTaz vs. @Sting & the TNT Champion @DarbyAllin in a STREET FIGHT! pic.twitter.com/NdyDEqFfis
