An AEW steel cage match appears to be planned for AEW Revolution, with Will Ospreay issuing a major challenge.

Ospreay was in action at Saturday’s (February 15) Grand Slam Australia event, teaming with Kenny Omega to face off against their respective rivals Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita.

Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega were ultimately victorious, hitting a One Winged Angel/Hidden Blade combo to Takeshita to end the match.

Both Omega and Ospreay issued notable challenges after the bout, with Ospreay wanting to face Fletcher one-on-one again at Revolution.

The former AEW International Champion challenged Fletcher to a steel cage match, to eliminate the chance of interference from the Don Callis Family.

Fletcher and Ospreay are currently 1-1 in AEW singles matches. Fletcher won their first battle, defeating Ospreay at Full Gear 2024.

The tables turned at Worlds End 2024, with Ospreay besting Fletcher in their Continental Classic semifinal bout.

AEW Revolution 2025 will emanate from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on March 9.
