All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has announced on Twitter that tickets for its Revolution pay-per-view sold out in under an hour.
The promotion tweeted:
#AEWRevolution is SOLD OUT! You did it! You actually did! In less than an hour – #AEWRevolution is sold out! However! – keeping checking AEWTIX.COM between now and show date as we will try to open up seats once production’s set up is finalized!
Tickets went on sale at 11am CST today, with the tweet being posted at 11:57. It’s currently unknown exactly how long it took, but under an hour is obviously impressive.
The show is set for February 29, 2020, and will emanate from the Wintrust Arena in Downtown Chicago, Illinois. No matches have been announced as of yet.
Revolution is one of four pay-per-views AEW will hold in 2020, and one of only two that will likely be in a different venue each year.
AEW has said that Double or Nothing and All Out are probably going to take place in the same arenas the originals were held, whereas Revolution and Full Gear aren’t fixed to a location.
Cody recently said that AEW will “100%” be coming to the UK next year, although he said it hadn’t yet been decided whether it would be for a Dynamite, a pay-per-view, or just a special one-off house show.
