AEW CEO Tony Khan has just announced a celebrity guest set to appear on this week’s Holiday Bash themed edition of AEW Dynamite.
After making a big impression (and becoming a mainstream meme!) from his last appearance on AEW television, Rick Ross will be back in all Elite Wrestling.
The hip-hop hitmaker will mediate a face to face meeting between Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland.
With the Swerve in our Glory partners still in rocky waters, can Rick Ross right the ship just in time for the holidays?
With AEW CEO Tony Khan tweeting:
“Tomorrow on @TBSNetwork, don’t miss Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite: Holiday Bash!
“We’ll be celebrating Wednesday with our annual #HolidayBash just days before Christmas, a great night of AEW stars & great wrestling + @RickRoss will mediate the meeting between Keith Lee and Swerve!”
Hilariously Ross’ last appearance on AEW television was picked up all around social media with his ‘Accusations!’ assertion entering the cultural zeitgeist.
The last time Swerve in our Glory appeared as a tag team was at the Ring of Honor pay-per-view, Final Battle where they faced off against Shane Taylor and JD Griffey. You can read all about that by clicking here.
