AEW’s Ricochet has commented on the Motor City Machine Guns’ WWE Tag Team Championship victory on SmackDown.
A surprise title change took place on last night’s SmackDown, when the Motor City Machine Guns defeated the Bloodline to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship on just their second week on the blue brand.
The match took place after Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley defeated DIY’s Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in a number one contender’s match, before the Bloodline interrupted and the match was made for the show.
Taking to Twitter following their victory, former WWE star and current AEW star Ricochet shared his appreciation for Shelley and Sabin, congratulating them on their victory.
He wrote:
This is wild to see.
Happy for the Guns!
TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace also commented on their championship victory, saying:
I’m actually crying real tears
