AEW Road To Dynamite Previews CM Punk Vs. Jon Moxley AEW Championship Unification Match AEW

AEW has released a new video highlighting Jon Moxley vs. CM Punk, who will go to war for the Undisputed AEW World Championship on Dynamite.

Featuring the fiery exchanges between the two on last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, the video package recapped the match to unify the AEW World Championship.

In the clip, Jon Moxley cuts a fascinating promo on CM Punk, saying amongst other things:

“CM Punk is a talker, he thinks that microphone in his hand gives him some kind of power, that his words can affect the outcome of pro wrestling matches. Words are words. Blood is real. ” If you use this transcription or any portion of it please credit WrestleTalk.com and link to this page.

Continuing along with the storyline that “there was no way Tony Khan could keep these two apart for the next three weeks,” the move from the match to unify the championship from All Out to this week’s August 24 edition of Dynamite was also discussed.

CM Punk for his part has been in the news since last week’s Dynamite after he reportedly called out Hangman Adam Page without warning.

For his part, Hangman accounted for his whereabouts during the in-ring call out through some hilarious backstage footage on Being the Elite.

Perhaps Excalibur puts it best in the clip when he said:

“Everyone tuning into Dynamite tomorrow is going to get glorious, beautiful, pro wrestling violence.”

Jon Moxley and CM Punk will face off on AEW Dynamite to unify the AEW interim and World Championships ahead of one of AEW’s major pay-per-views of the year, All Out on September 4, 2022.
