AEW/ROH In-Ring Debut Confirmed

A new AEW/ROH debut has been confirmed, with Tony Khan announcing that a notable star will wrestle for one of his promotions for the first time.

With Paul Walter Hauser recently calling out QT Marshall, there has been a lot of speculation about the Emmy award winner wrestling under the Tony Khan banner.

While speaking with Robbie Fox on My Mom’s Basement, Tony Khan announced that Paul Walter Hauser will wrestle for the ROH brand.

Confirming that there are plans for Hauser to make his ROH in-ring debut, Khan elaborated:

“Paul Walter Hauser, who has commentated in AEW and is going to be wrestling for us in Ring of Honor.

He’s going to be wrestling for Ring of Honor and he’s a great commentator for us in AEW.”

This summer has been a big one for Hauser’s Hollywood career, with the Emmy award winner appearing as Mole Man in Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Captain Ed Hocken Jr in The Naked Gun.

Hauser has wrestled on the independent scene for the likes of MLW, DEFY and PROGRESS Wrestling, with Hauser currently holding the latter company’s Proteus Championship.

Paul Walter Hauser first appeared for AEW in January 2023, with Jeff Jarrett notably smashing a guitar over his head on an episode of Rampage.

He notably served as a special guest panelist during this year’s AEW Revolution Zero Hour pre-show.
