AEW Star Finishing Up With ROH

An update has emerged on a top AEW star’s future following recent teases, with the star reportedly finishing up with ROH.

Chris Jericho’s second ROH World Championship reign came to an end at AEW Dynasty, with Jericho losing to Bandido in a Title vs Mask match.

With Jericho indicating that he thinks it’s best if he leaves, during the April 9 Dynamite episode, there has been some uncertainty surrounding the former AEW World Champion’s in-ring future.

Per Fightful Select, while they haven’t got confirmation on whether Jericho is leaving AEW TV, the plan is for him to finish up with ROH.

Jericho is reportedly expected to move on from ROH following his feud with Bandido. It was noted that while Jericho is preparing for a new tour with his band Fozzy, only one of the tour dates take place on a Wednesday, meaning that he could potentially work AEW tapings if needed.

Per the report, there have been plans for Bandido to win the ROH World Championship for some time, with the idea emerging around the time of his return.
