An update has emerged on the in-ring return of Cole Karter, who has been out of action for five months due to an injury.
Karter – who previously wrestled as Troy “Two Dimes” Donovan in WWE NXT – has been out of action since June, with Karter revealing in July that he had undergone surgery for a broken arm.
With Karter not appearing in an AEW ring for several months, an update has emerged on his injury status ahead of his potential return.
Per Fightful Select, Carter is “either cleared or very close to it”, with the report noting that he could return to the ring soon.
While Karter made his initial debut under Tony Khan on AEW, he has since become a mainstay on ROH.
He last wrestled under a Tony Khan brand on June 8, teaming with Anthony Henry and Griff Garrison to defeat Serpentico & The Infantry at a ROH taping.
This match aired on the June 20 episode.
