AEW Star Return Update After Almost A Year Away

AEW Star Return Update After Almost A Year Away AEW

An update has emerged on a AEW/ROH star returning to the ring after almost a year away from the ring.

While Dalton Castle hasn’t wrestled since July 2024, the former ROH World Champion’s return has now been officially teased.

A vignette for Castle aired on Thursday’s (June 5) episode of ROH. During the vignette – which you can watch below – Castle arrived in a UFO before exclaiming:

“Boys, let’s go break some hearts.”

A torn bicep injury initially took Dalton Castle out of action, with Castle suffering this injury in his most recent match.

He last wrestled on the July 10, 2024 Collision episode, losing to Roderick Strong in a ROH World Championship #1 contender’s match.

While Castle is listed on the ROH roster, he had been regularly competing as an AEW star prior to his hiatus, notably facing Shingo Takagi on the July 6, 2024 Rampage episode and Hechicero on the June 15, 2024 Collision show.

He last wrestled for ROH during the June 18 taping, teaming with Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd of the Outrunners in a losing effort against Lance Archer, Dutch & Vincent, which aired on the July 18 ROH episode.
