AEW Star Ruled Out Of Full Gear 2024 Match AEW

An AEW star has been ruled out of an upcoming Full Gear 2024 match after a pair of matches tonight determined who would be involved.

On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, it was decided who would face MJF at Full Gear 2024 after he challenged Roderick Strong and Adam Cole for Full Gear 2024.

In the first match up, Roderick Strong would attempt to defeat the ‘Murderhawk Monster’ Lance Archer in order to secure his third consecutive victory.

While Strong was able to win the match, he was promptly attacked afterward by Konosuke Takeshita, who would then have his own match against Adam Cole.

MJF had previously laid out the stipulation that whichever of Strong or Cole could win three matches would face MJF at Full Gear, and if they both did, it would be a three-way.

With Strong’s spot confirmed after his win over Archer, it was Cole’s turn to score a third win in a row as he faced Takeshita.

In the end, Takeshita would employ the Dynamite Diamond Ring that was handed off between MJF and Don Callis.

Clobbering Cole in the face and capturing the pinfall victory, Takeshita successfully prevented Adam Cole from earning his way into the match at AEW Full Gear 2024 against MJF.

Commentary confirmed it will be a singles match between MJF and Roderick Strong at Full Gear, with Cole not involved.

After the match when Takeshita threatened to use the Dynamite Diamond Ring on Strong, Kyle O’Reilly would run out to make the save.

The segment would end with Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole in the ring together as Konosuke Takeshita would be smacked around by Ricochet on the ramp.

Takeshita would end up abandoning his AEW International Championship belt, leading to Ricochet holding it up in the air, teasing a match between those two for Full Gear.

Back in the ring, O’Reilly rejected a handshake from Adam Cole as he left the ring, while Roderick Strong and Adam Cole seemingly stayed united.
