AEW Star Reveals New Finishing Move Name

After AEW Rampage hit the air, an AEW fan favorite took to Twitter to share that his new finisher also has a new and very on-brand name!

After taking on two formidable teams in Butcher and the Blade and Private Party, The Acclaimed were able to pick up the win after some devastating offense.

On Twitter, Anthony Bowens noted that the new move which was debuted in the match has a very funny and on-brand name.

Keeping along with the successful scissoring references, the new move will be named the Scissor Me Timbers.

Speaking of scissoring, AEW Dynamite is primed to celebrate not only the Acclaimed but also apparently the act itself as next week they’ll be holding a unique celebration.

AEW Dynamite is set to feature a National Scissoring Day celebration in honor of The Acclaimed.

Billy Gunn and the Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) declared next week on AEW Dynamite they would be celebrating ‘National Scissoring Day’ encouraging fans to show their love for the Acclaimed by bringing all their scissor swag.

The Acclaimed recently captured the AEW Tag Team Championships from Swerve in our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland) at the Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite.

AEW Dynamite airs on Wednesday at 8pm EST on TBS.
