Scorpio Sky hasn’t been seen on AEW television since AEW Dynamite in July when he lost the TNT Title to Wardlow.
Back in November 2022, it was reported that Scorpio Sky he had been sidelined with a leg injury though was, at the time, cleared and ready to go.
The issue was, however, that AEW creative had no plans for Scorpio Sky.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has now provided an update on the former AEW TNT Champion reporting that he is still healthy to wrestle and was backstage at Impact Wrestling’s No Surrender PPV but “hasn’t been at many AEW Dynamites of late”. There were, reportedly, “some AEW talent surprised not to see him at the LA show in early January”.
Scorpio Sky, per Fightful Select’s report, has “several years left on his contract.”
He revealed in 2021 that he had signed a five-year extension.
Another popular AEW star who has been absent from AEW television over the past few months has been Miro.
Details for Miro’s current status can be found here.
