Ring of Honor (ROH) is set to air it’s Final Battle pay-per-view tonight (December 11), which will be the final event for the promotion before it goes on hiatus for the first quarter of 2022.
It was reported yesterday that current AEW star and ROH legend Jay Lethal will be in action on the show, replacing ROH World Champion Bandido in his match against Jonathan Gresham after the champ returned a positive COVID-19 test.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Lethal may just be the start of the Forbidden Door goodness. Per Fightful, one AEW source indicated that AEW would be sending ‘multiple people’ to the ROH show tonight, not just Lethal.
While it has not been confirmed, Fightful has learned that IMPACT Wrestling was allowing at least one ‘significant’ talent from their roster to appear on the show.
