An update has now emerged on an absent AEW star, who hasn’t wrestled for the promotion in almost two months.
The luchador Hologram has been prominently featured on AEW TV recently, with the character being a personal creation of Tony Khan.
As was previously reported, Hologram, also known as Aramis, announced in late-October that he’d be out of action for ‘about two weeks’ due to injury.
With Hologram out of the ring for longer than initially expected, a new update has indicated that the luchador is dealing with a serious injury.
Per Fightful Select, sources told them that Hologram is out of action with an injury which is believed to be a “serious ankle injury”.
Fightful didn’t have a timetable for Hologram’s return at the time of writing.
Hologram last wrestled at the October 12 AEW WrestleDream event, defeating Beast Mortos in a 2/3 falls bout two falls to one.
He was originally set for action at the October 27 GALLI Lucha Libre event, but was unable to compete.
We wish Hologram a safe and healthy recovery from his injury.
