AEW Sets New UK Viewership Record AEW

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) recently set its all-time UK TV ratings record.

Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the episode of Dynamite that aired on June 24 on ITV 4 drew a record 188,000 viewers.

This episode, which originally aired on June 22, was the go-home show before the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 26.

The show featured a number of top names ahead of the crossover event, including NJPW stars Will Ospreay, Zack Sabre Jr and Hiroshi Tanahashi, with the latter in action on the show. Top AEW stars who wrestled on this edition of Dynamite included Hangman Page, Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho.

In its original time slot on TBS, this episode drew 878,000 viewers, with a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

ITV 4 is notably a free channel in the UK. The June 24 episode aired from 10:15 pm.
