AEW’s Shawn Spears praised The Miz following the WWE star’s match at SummerSlam 2022.

At the July 30 premium live event, The Miz went one-on-one with Logan Paul. The social media star was ultimately victorious, scoring his first singles victory after nailing The Miz with a Skull Crushing Finale of his own.

Prior to this bout, Logan Paul had only wrestled once before, teaming with The Miz to defeat The Mysterios at WrestleMania 38.

Shawn Spears has taken to Twitter to argue that The Miz is great at what he does, writing:

SummerSlam 2022 was headlined by a Last Man Standing bout, with Roman Reigns defeating Brock Lesnar to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Following the show, fans have been thanking Triple H, who now runs WWE creative.

Shawn Spears hasn’t wrestled since losing to Wardlow in a steel cage match on the May 25 edition of Dynamite.

He recently reacted to the announcement of AEW Trios Titles tweeting:
