Shock Return & Heel Turn On AEW Dynamite

Shock Return & Heel Turn On AEW Dynamite AEW

An AEW star has made a shocking return on tonight’s AEW Dynamite (March 29) and in the process, revealed they had turned heel!

In a fitting tribute, ahead of defending the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship against NJPW’s Jeff Cobb, Kenny Omega resurrected a fitting theme.

Using his iconic NJPW entrance theme “Devil’s Sky”, Omega was uncharacteristically solo after an earlier backstage segment saw a shocking turn of events.

When Don Callis went to share his apologies to Hangman Adam Page, both members of the comversation were assaulted by the Blackpool Combat Club.

While Omega was able to successfully defend the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship, he was certainly battered and bruised after a hard fought battle when the BCC hit the scene.

As they lurked outside the ring, it was Bryan Danielson who interrupted however he did not save Kenny Omega.

Quite the contrary, he kicked his head in!

Rejoining the Blackpool Combat Club to establish their dominance in AEW, the American Dragon Bryan Danielson is back!
