Big Boom AJ has revealed his current contract status, commenting on his, Big Justice’s and The Rizzler’s futures with AEW.
Content creators The Costco Guys have recently established themselves on AEW TV, with Big Boom AJ making his in-ring debut for the promotion at Full Gear 2024.
AJ returned to an AEW ring ahead of Revolution on March 9, teaming with The Conglomeration to defeat Johnny TV and the MXM Collection on the Zero Hour pre-show.
During the post-show media scrum, Big Boom AJ confirmed that he, Big Justice and The Rizzler are now officially under contract with AEW.
AJ stated:
“How much deeper does everybody want me to get? I thought I was deep. (Laughs). Yes, I am officially with AEW right now. I’m undefeated. I am under contract right now, as is Big Justice and The Rizzler. We are going to be here for a while.
“I know there are some names on the AEW roster that I might be gunning for. Some guys out there who don’t quite believe in what I believe in; the happiness, the positivity, the boom. You never know how deep this thing is going to go.”
AJ was notably a wrestler before both his AEW debut and Costco Guys fame, competing on the independent scene from 1999 to 2005, before making his return to the indies in 2021 and 2024.
Also during the Revolution media scrum, Swerve Strickland revealed he was dealing with an injury following his match, click here to read more.
