Recent AEW Signing Comments On Upcoming In-Ring Debut AEW

Ahead of the Maximum Carnage edition of Dynamite, recent AEW signing MVP has commented on his upcoming in-ring debut.

At AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, former WWE star MVP made his debut for the company in a segment with Prince Nana. Since then, MVP has formed the Hurt Syndicate in All Elite Wrestling alongside fellow former WWE stars Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley.

Over the weekend, AEW announced that MVP will make his in-ring debut, teaming with Benjamin and Lashley to face Mark Briscoe and AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party this Wednesday on the Maximum Carnage edition of Dynamite.

Ahead of Maximum Carnage, AEW posted a video featuring MVP and Shelton Benjamin addressing this trios match. MVP said:

“So it seems the AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party along with Mark Briscoe have chosen to challenge The Hurt Syndicate to a trios tag team match.”

“And while I respect Private Party, they are the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and Mark Briscoe, what a storied career he’s had, I question the intelligence of their decision.”

“I mean we’re talking about ‘The Standard of Excellence’ Shelton Benjamin, ‘The All Mighty’ Bobby Lashley because I’ve done such an magnificent job of praising my business partners, you’ve forgotten my accolades.”

“You’ve forgotten that I am one of the longest reigning United States Champions in the history of the title. You’ve forgotten that I’m the first ever IWGP Intercontinental Champion.”

“And while I’m no NCAA All American or an accomplished mixed martial artist like Bobby Lashley, I am a Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt and an International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation Masters World Champion.”

“I’m not just adept at managing the affairs of The Hurt Syndicate, I am an expert at managing how much oxygen you can breathe. Wednesday night in Cincinnati for the first time in two and a half years, MVP’s taking off the suit and lacing up the boots.”
