A former WWE star has now reportedly signed with AEW, after recently hinting at an alliance with two current stars.
Ex-WWE star Elijah (fka Elias) recently shared a vignette which indicated that he had joined forces with The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch), calling for his fans to ‘Run with The Righteous’.
Following matches on the Jericho Cruise, Elijah has now signed with AEW, per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Meltzer wrote:
“Elijah (formerly Elias, real name Jeff Sciullo, 37) has signed here. A video was posted showing him as the new member of The Righteous group with Dutch & Vincent on ROH.
“He teamed with them on the Jericho Cruise this week. The fact they are still signing new people for ROH would indicate Tony Khan hasn’t given up on fortifying for a media rights deal.”
Elijah was wrestled for WWE from 2014 to 2023, with the four time 24/7 Champion released from the company in September 2023.
