AEW Signs 2Point0 To Contract Extension

AEW Signs 2Point0 To Contract Extension AEW

AEW has signed members of a top faction to a contract extension.

Fightful Select (subscription required) reports that the team of 2point0 has signed contract extensions with All Elite Wrestling.

“Daddy Magic” Matt Menard and “Cool Hand” Angelo Parker joined AEW in early August 2021 before being announced as signing full-time deals a few weeks later.

2point0 have been featured in major storylines with the likes of CM Punk, Sting and Darby Allin.

In March 2022, the former NXT tag team joined Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia and Jake Hager in the Jericho Appreciation Society stable.

The report notes that Parker and Menard have received heavy praise from both fans and peers for their work in AEW. Those within the company say the tandem have been good to work with in their yearlong run.

Matt Menard is currently sidelined with an injury following the Blood and Guts Match on the June 29 edition of AEW Dynamite and has been doing commentary for the promotion since then.

Meanwhile, Angelo Parker has continued to appear on All Elite Wrestling during that period.

2point0 previously worked for WWE NXT under the team name of Ever-Rise before receiving their release in June 2021 after signing new deals.
