Tony Khan has split up a team on tonight’s AEW pay-per-view, AEW Full Gear (November 19) after a wild match.
There was an exciting tag team affair to determine who would be leaving AEW Full Gear as the AEW World Tag Team Champions.
Within the match however, a team completely dissolved as one member left the ring to let their partner face the consequences of their decisions, alone!
Mid-match when Swerve Strickland was hell bent on using pliers against The Acclaimed and damaging their ability to scissor forever, Keith Lee declined to participate.
Indubitably splitting up Swerve in our Glory as a tag team, Lee left Swerve alone in the ring.
Swerve was defeated by the Acclaimed after a big stereo move as the champs go on to scissor another day.
Also occurring on AEW Full Gear, the Elite returned debuting a new theme song and received a thunderous response from the crowd including a special related CM Punk chant.
And the in-ring return of Saraya after she took on Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. in a big match.
We also saw another title change when Samoa Joe won the TNT Title in a three-way against Powerhouse Hobbs and defending champion Wardlow.
