AEW Star Accepts Jungle Boy’s Open Challenge For September 14 Dynamite AEW

An AEW star has accepted Jungle Boy’s open challenge for the September 14 edition of AEW Dynamite from Albany, NY.

As previously mentioned, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry signed a contract for an open challenge on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.

It appears his challenge has been accepted already.

In an exclusive clip on the AEW Twitter account, Lexy Nair had an interview with Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh where they brought up the open challenge.

Dutt said:

“Jungle Boy huh? I’m going to emphasize the boy. You want to throw out an open challenge, an open contract for tonight here, and Albany on Dynamite tonight, is that right? Well, let me recap things. At All Out, your best friend, your supposed best friend, choke-slammed you right into hell.

“Well you need to pick better best friends, and you need to pick better opponents. Cause I’ll guarantee you one thing, my best friend accepts your challenge, and he’s going to beat you tonight. That’s right Jungle Boy! You’re going down!”

Lethal added:

“Jungle Boy thinks tonight he’s going to get back into the swing of things,” Lethal said. “Well Lexy, we will see about that. I don’t think so.”

Jay Lethal last competed in a six-man tag team bout with IMPACT Wrestling’s The Motor City Machine Guns against FTR and Wardlow at AEW All Out on September 4.

At the same event, Jungle Boy lost to Christian Cage in mere seconds following Luchasaurus betraying his former friend and officially aligning with Cage.
