AEW star Adam Cole is currently out of action after suffering a torn labrum (shoulder) a few weeks ago.
Cole also reportedly suffered quite a serious concussion at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door show, so all in all, he’s been in better shape in his career.
Interestingly, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has noted Cole has elected not to undergo surgery on the torn labrum.
Dave Meltzer wrote:
Cole is opting to not have surgery on his torn labrum. He’s doing therapy for it. The time frame for his return is based more on the recovery from the concussion. We are told he is faring better in that regard.
Dr Google suggests a torn labrum can take up to six weeks to heal, and then another four to six weeks to become strong again, so it could be that Cole is out for around two to three months in total as a result of his various injuries.
