When asked about his thoughts on perhaps mixing it up with Shane McMahon someday, AEW American Champion MJF was all for it – kind of.
MJF said in an interview with Cultaholic, that while he might enjoy getting into the ring with Shane McMahon, it is possible the latter wouldn’t be keen on it in the long run.
MJF said:
“I think it would be bad for Shane McMahon’s mental health to get in a ring with me on a microphone or bell to bell.
“My answer is yes, because I would have the time of my f**king life, but my answer, just because I’m so salt of the Earth, is… I think for the first time in my career maybe I’d feel bad.”
MJF is primed for his match coming up at AEW All In London where he is set to defend his “American Championship” (the AEW International Championship that MJF renamed upon winning it) against Will Ospreay at Wembley Stadium.
Tony Khan recently commented on having a meeting with Shane McMahon, confirming that he enjoyed his chat with McMahon and found him to be “a great guy”.
