AEW
An AEW star has seemingly undergone another name change after recently changing to a shortened version of their ring name.
Former WWE star Ariya Daivari has been competing on the ROH brand in recent months, where he had been working under a shortened version of his name ‘Ari Daivari’.
However, Daivari recently formed the new Premier Athletes tag team with Tony Nese, where he had once again been competing as Ariya Daivari rather than Ari.
In an update, Daivari is now once again officially known as Ariya, with his profile on AEW’s roster page naming him Ariya Daivari rather than Ari once again.
Daivari last competed on the May 16 ROH tapings, where he and Tony Nese teamed with Griff Garrison and Cole Karter in a losing effort to Lee Johnson, Action Andretti and Top Flight.
